I’ve been waiting for this album for ages now! Seriously, I don’t know how I randomly became a big Da Mouth fan. It’s probably from watching 完娛 while Alien was in Singapore cause I got bored of 娛百. And the adorable MC40 got me head over heels and the constant reports on Da Mouth made me love them.
I’m not saying I didn’t like them before. I’ve always liked Da Mouth, but recently I am in love with them. To the degree that I would buy their album. This album has been purchased, now I’m just waiting to get my hands on it. Had to wait longer since they changed preorder dates
I really love this album! The whole damn album is crazily catchy! You actually need to sit down with headphones on and listen to the whole album once to get all the detail in the songs. I was exposed to a few songs before the album release, but they actually sound different when you listen with headphones cause you get to hear the bass and all the detail they put in.

Spending some time to go through Show’s album properly. I think this is an alright album. I prefer his other albums a lot more. Before getting my hands on the whole album, I thought his album matured a lot, especially with his two 主打’s, but the album has a lot of light and “kiddish” songs that I’m not a fan of. So after listening to every song on the album, I realised I basically like the ones I had my hands on before the whole album got released.
For some strange reason, I never really like Rainie and Show’s duets. I prefer his other duets with Elva and Xiao S more than the ones he did with Rainie. I feel like Rainie and Show’s duets lack something.
Seriously not a fan of 40% of the album, 今天你最漂亮 is on my not too bad list. I really do love the ones listed as favourites though. Guess my focus will be on half an album

I finally spent time to listen to this album properly. I couldn’t get myself together to listen to it with Alien and Mayday’s album there cause the style was so different.
The album is amazing! I totally get what Twin meant when she said it seriously surpasses his last album. There’s so much power and emotion in his voice for the songs on this album. The lyrics and melody to the songs are amazing!
And his music and voice sounds so fkn good with my beats headphone *U*

I’ve taken a long time before deciding if I should review this album. I personally really love it, and I think after two months, I can logically (as logical as a fangirl can go) review it without being overly bias.
After two years of waiting, I seriously thought this album did not disappoint. His music style has matured a lot, and the balance of song types were more even in this album. What surprised me the most, was his ability to write lyrics. I know he has experience with book writing before, but writing lyrics is different. With the time pressure he had, and the constant WB complains about failing to think of lyrics, I seriously was worried about what he was going to present. But the four songs he wrote was amazing, and the lyrics were a lot deeper than I expected. (漩渦, 澀谷, 平行時空, 黑心)
I’m not saying the album is perfect. He still lacks much emotion in his ballads, but you can see how much better he performs in the songs he writes himself. I love how his album includes a reggae style song, although the song lacks the sexy reggae feel, it’s a good bonus and stands out a lot in the album (前後左右)
I strongly advise you give this album a go. Tell me how you think of it! I think he’s improved a lot, you should tell me if you agree

Mayday’s “Second Round” is special in that there was two versions to be preordered, No Where and Now Here version. And both version has tracks listed in a different order in order to tell a different story. Since I’m not a very positive person, I bought the No Where version and listened to it in that order.
When listening it in this order. The songs starts more deep and dark and then starts to give hope and energy. I’ll listen to it the Now Here version probably tomorrow just to get on another musical journey

I only gave this album a shot because I got a fair few recommendations. I’ve always knew Sodagreen’s existence, but I never had much interest of giving them a shot. I have to admit that 青峯’s voice is actually amazing, very beautiful indeed. I have no regrets giving the album a try. The vocalist makes the music sound very…. close to heart

I was extremely surprised by this album. Their music has improved and matured so much. I never thought I would be so in love with Lollipop F’s music. I’ve always love the boys, and the dance aspect they do, but this album has made me love their music. These boys are seriously improving so much so quickly. All so talented, and amazing entertainers.
I actually failed to pick favourites cause I basically listed the whole album. Special mention to the RNB songs which are always my favourites (戰利品, 重新愛, 近距離). Biggest surprise to the album was 不再親愛, I didn’t expect a song like this from a boyband, but Xiao Yu as the rocker, so I guess it makes sense.
Seriously give this album a go though! Totally worth the time and effort. I need to buy myself a copy of it now.

I really love this album! It has a very big RNB aspect to it and it is totally what I love. I actually can’t wait till my hard copy comes from YesAsia.
The only thing that disappoints me is the collab with Vanness and Vic. I expected a better song, but it’s very auto-tuned and way too robotic. Maybe I’ll like it the more I listen to it, but for now, not really a fan of it.

I love how real his music sounds. Everything is very very genuine. Straight from the heart. Which is why I love his music, cause you can feel the strong emotions coming through.
I seriously haven’t heard music that tells so many stories, so much feeling for a while. It’s like every single song has something to say. I guess that’s what’s different if you write your own music, you know what you want to express, so it comes out so perfectly.

I realised I haven’t done these in ages, so I’m gonna do one for F.I.R. So after the long break F.I.R. had from the entertainment industry, they came back with their album Atlantis. Their first promoted song 亞特蘭提斯 is generated from the Classical Greek philosopher, Plato’s fable, so the song has a mix of cultures and sounds rather mysterious, alike their first hit single Lydia.
